龜雖壽

神龜雖壽,猶有竟時(shí);
騰蛇乘霧,終為土灰。
老驥伏櫪,志在千里;
烈士暮年,壯心不已。
盈縮之期,不但在天;
養(yǎng)怡之福,可得永年。
幸甚至哉,歌以詠志。

曹操(155—220),字孟德,沛國譙縣(今安徽省亳州市)人。中國古代杰出的政治家、軍事家、文學(xué)家、書法家、詩人。東漢末年宰相,三國時(shí)期曹魏政權(quán)奠基者。
CAO Cao(155-220), styled Virtue, a native of Qiaoxian County, Pei State (present-day Bozhou, Anhui Province). He was an outstanding statesman, strategist, litterateur, calligrapher and poet in ancient China. Cao was Prime Minister in the late Eastern Han dynasty, and the founder of Wei Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period.(陳蕾譯)
Turtles Live long

Turtles live a long life,
And yet will die someday.
Dragons ride on haze rife,
But will fall to decay.
The stabled old horse peers;
It’d one thousand miles run.
The man in his late years
Would have his mission done.
In life losses and gains
Don’t but on Heav’n depend.
If one his health maintains,
He may live without end.
How happy, o hurray!
I sing, sing up this lay.
